Gloria J. Dee, MSW
Gloria is currently a Sr. Project Director with Capacity Builders Inc. (CBI) a non-profit organization since 2017. Gloria manages federal grant programs for CBI. Ms. Dee possesses a Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Social Work, and a bachelor’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highlands University.
Gloria comes from a traditional Navajo cultural upbringing. She has over 20 years’ experience working with the Navajo Nation Tribal Prosecutor and Social Services division. Gloria has worked in State Child Welfare with New Mexico State Children, Youth & Families department. She is familiar with Child custody proceedings, adjudications, permanency, and relative placements. Gloria has facilitated training in life skills, mental health first aid, parenting skills and peer mentoring. One of her strengths in her community is she speaks and understands the Navajo language. Ms. Dee is thankful for the opportunity to expand her skills and knowledge in serving victims of crime in the opioid crisis; victim advocacy; evidence-based interventions; substance abuse prevention and supervision. Gloria continues to collaborate with counseling partnerships and the surrounding rural communities. She does not hesitate to share her cultural beliefs in the work she continues. She believes in visions of positive outcomes for underserved tribal communities.
Kyle Manuelito
My name is Kyle Manuelito. My pronouns are (He/Him/His) I am Native American and a member of the Navajo Nation. My clans are Tsi’naaji’nii and Bit’ahnni. I reside on the Navajo Reservation within the district 14 of the Ft. Defiance Agency, in a community called Mexican Springs also known as Naakaibito. I self-identify as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. I’ve been living on the Navajo Reservation for most of my life. I am fluent in the English language and speak some of my Navajo language. I currently serve as a Peer Support Specialist, Prevention Specialist and Certified Nursing Assistant at Capacity Builders Inc. working with the Navajo Youth Builders Coalition and Peer Recovery Coaches. I enjoy helping others and finding new ways of being creative in my own Recovery, which paves the way for my sustainability for my Sobriety from Alcohol. I believe in an inclusive society that offers a safe place for everyone.
Rosamariah McCabe

Nation. My clans are Near the Water clan, Bitter Water clan, Red House clan, and Coyote Pass clan. I am currently a youth Prevention Specialist within the Fort Defiance Agency with Capacity Builders Inc. My goals include promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing substance abuse, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for all members of our community.

Nation. I’m a Prevention Specialist and the Education Curriculum Coordinator for Capacity
Builders Inc. Our goal with the Navajo Youth Builders Coalition is to support healthy youth
through cultural revitalization and preventing youth substance abuse on the Navajo Nation.
Ashleigh Bennet
Ashleigh Bennett, BPH, Project Coordinator (PC) for the Navajo
Youth Builders Coalition (NYBC) with Capacity Builders Inc. within the Fort Defiance
Agency. In meeting the NYBC mission in preventing substance use among youth on the
Navajo Nation, in coordinating community outreach, fostering collaboration among
community partners, facilitating workshops and meetings with coalition members and
partners.
